![]() ![]() In 2021 we returned to in-person Build Days for Habitat for Humanity, teed up for good causes at our hometown golf courses, and prepped meals for neighbors in need. ![]() Now in its 20 th year, the Patterson-Schwartz Foundation has generated over $1,360,000 in donations to local organizations since its inception.īut as the last year proves, we don’t just give back, we show up. Being a good neighborĪt the heart of Patterson-Schwartz is an engaging company culture of support that translates into caring about each other and the causes close to the hearts of our colleagues and friends. The commitment and perseverance of the Patterson-Schwartz family are the reason we are recognized as the number one independently owned & locally operated real estate brokerage in the State of Delaware year after year. We are grateful for our amazing agents for going above and beyond, a dynamic leadership team at the helm, and a dedicated support staff who keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. During a year that fluctuated between feeling close to normal and far from it, our team worked diligently to meet every challenge and deliver exceptional service. In 2021, we were honored to serve the residential real estate needs of approximately 4,593 individuals and families, transferring ownership of properties valued over $1.6 Billion in total. Not only was it the first company-wide gathering after a year-long hiatus due to safety concerns, but it also took place sixty years to the day the company was founded. As a Veteran who fought for this country I feel that racial discrimination is still alive an well.On December 1, 2021, Patterson-Schwartz family members from across the company came together to celebrate the holiday season as they have in years past: at a favorite local venue decorated with hints of the company’s signature brand, a Toys for Tots donation bin filled to overflowing, and laughter and good cheer ringing throughout the halls.īut this year’s celebration was an extra special one. Not to mention that his credit at the time was in good standing. On the previous time when we applied for a place in Pike Creek we were denied because of my son's questionable payment history for something 5 years in the past.we were denied. This is the second time in four years that we have dealt with Patterson-Schwartz realtors and ran into this problem. I could have afforded to lease the place on my income alone. Low and behold, after filling out the information for leasing the townhouse in question, we were "DENIED" due to Renetta's "lack of income." REALLY!!. For this reason, we didn't want to put her name on the application. Based on that information she does not get the monies she use to get while working full time. It has been detected that she has a small blockage in her heart which causes her to pass out on occasion. She is presently undergoing various tests of her heart and brain. Renetta has been having complications from COVID every since. About two years ago she and 10 other nurses at her hospital contracted COVID-19. The reason for not wanting my daughter's name on the application is she is on long-term FLMA from Christiana Hospital where the works as a nurse. Deasha told him to add Renetta (daughter) to the application just for reference. ![]() My son told Deasha that he wanted to put in a application for certain named Property, but he only wanted to have his name and his father (me) name on the application. They were greeted by Deasha Barrett real estate agent for Patterson-Schwartz realtors. Recently my son Nathan and my daughter visited the Hockessin real estate office to put in a application to rent a townhouse in the Pike Creek area of Newark Delaware. I tell you that for a reason which I will bring out at the end of my review. I am a 28 year Marine Vietnam Combat Veteran with Purple Heart. ![]()
